Description:
This tag is meant for locations or ideas of an afterlife, a place where people's spirits, souls, etc. end up after death. There are many afterlives in both real world and fictional cultures, and more than one can and do exist simultaneously within a given society. This was also true of Iron Age and medieval Scandinavians, where Válhöll, "hall of the slain," the famous 'Valhalla,' was only one of several possible afterlives, and this according only to a few texts which were written centuries after Christianization.| Name | Description |
